My gauge acts the same as yours. I've tried two or three different ones and they act the same way. I also swapped out the sending unit with no luck. I also installed a voltage stabilizer inline with

I'm tempted to suggest that you need heavier weight fuel. But that might start a thread. Montana Bob. Oh, BTW..... did you connect the voltage stabilizer? only applicable to 1275cc and later, though.

I would look for a oxidized connection some where. Either in the line going to or in the ground. Suspect any hidden crimp connectors, it always the one you have to be a contortionest to reach. This
