Just a note for the future, if you dont have an overdrive transmission, it is possble to remove the transmission without removing the engine. Joe Potter

Two disadvantages come to mind. One the header on my car hangs way low, and acts like a speed bump feeler. and two After putting on the header and free flow exhaust I no longer had the cool MG exhaus

In normal street use there will be no noticable gain in horsepower by using a tubular header on an MGB. The MGA is another story. Accurate fit and port lineup are the worst problems with headers. No

The 5 main engine is an 18GB, and the 3 main is an 18G. The MGA's head is a head, while the MGB has an 1800 no emissions head - the 1800 should have slightly larger valves, and so it should really ge
