Hello Art, I believe the longer outlet is on top. Reason is the hose connecting to the upper outlet crossing over the hose to the lower outlet. Thus, the picture in the moss -UK catalogue shows it up

I have asked this question once before but have not gotten an answer.I am doing a frame off restoration of my 1971 TR6. I am rebuilding the heater unit and am concerned about the correct orientation

Looking at the diagram in the TR4A spare pars catalogue ( same heater) it would seem that the longer pipe , is at the top and is the return port on the rad. Inlet is definitely the bottom. As far as
