- Went to a Ham Radio Swap meet (aka Hamfest) today and found a pair of Hella H4's that the guy gave me for free since I (kinda) knew what they were. 1) Are all Hella h4's the same (i.e. will they fit

- I have Hella H4 lamps in my saloon. Admittedly, these are a four headlamp setup but they were a straight swap for the dim Lucas Sealed beams that were there previously. As for wiring, I fitted a rel

- If they're 7" diameter, then they'll fit. Auto parts stores. Please don't get those god-awful blue tinted bulbs, they are distracting. Philips seems to make the majority of bulbs around here. Do you

- I have original Lucas H4 lamps with 55/100 watt bulbs in my TR-4, and they are fantastic if you live in a rural area and like to drive fast on country roads at night. You can easily see 3-5 times fa

- As stated by another lister, if they are 7"round they should fit. (Apparently VW had some special ones 7" round ones made to fit their Euro grill on some GTIs -- chances are slim you got these for f

- Assuming they are 7" round, the only other variation I'm aware of is which way they dip (right or left). Usually, you can see the extra wedge-shaped 'diffuser' section in the lens, which for US use
