The other end of the spring hooks through a metal tab welded to the floor just behind the curved enclosure panel. Its a devilish location to get to unless done with with the panel removed. Good Luck,

The metal frame that attaches to the glass (see the recent glazing rubber thread) has plastic guides (runner door glass (nylon) AHB 9499). Two along the front edge and one at the rear lower corner.
