I need to replace the bypass hose from the head to the water pump. Does anybody remember what size heater hose fits this? I also need the Moss p/n for the interior panel clips. The clips I'm talking

As an emergency fix, I have used a garden hose before. Don't know what size that makes it. I would recommend real heater hose, not the sissy accordeon style one made out of thin rubber. Ulix __/__,__

I use 1/2" hose of the heaviest most durable type that I can find. Do not use the silly accordian type they try to sell you That is for emergency roadside repair get you home use only.

I did it w/o either. I may have had the radiator out anyway, I can't remember. A good temporary fix is top use about 1.5 feet of garden hose and make a loop, it ends up looking kind of like a trumpet

If you think the accordian is bad to replace on a Sprite you should try it on a Mini. When replacing the bypass I prefer to remove the water pump rather than the head (water pump gaskets are cheaper
