I am thinking of buying a restored MGB for my daily driver. I noted that in the 80's the company actually had an airconditioning unit that could be ordered. I thought Brit cars were allready running

Personally I like the "swamp" coolers I see every year at Hot August Nights, like the ones you could rent as you were going on the desert in the 50's and then drop off at the other end. Kind of a tub

While I wouldn't think the Spridget would have the capacity for A/C, I think the MGB would. Never had a cooling problem with mine, or the earlier MGA's, either...ever. Cap'n Bob Basic Frog

All the low riders with the "restored late 40s cars here in L.A. have them on their cars. Don't know if they work though. They also have those big visors over the windshiel too. Doesn't make the car

I just happen to have an MGB AC set up sitting out in the storage coop. Came off an Austin Marina (1800) I stuck it on my Austin Farina (1275) So yes, it probably will work on a Sprite as it like to
