- I would think the advantage with the new shell is that you could get the entire thing dipped or sprayed with rust preventative prior to assembly - versus trying to spray Waxoyl into nooks and crannie

- Not so. The RV8 shell did, and the heritage shell does, benefit from modern treatments and paint processes so is significantly better than the originals. One would also assume that a current rebuild
