To List, I have recently found a business that sells carb rebuild kits for the 44PHH's. However, this dealer said that his kits will only work for the European Solex's and NOT the Japanese Mikuni 44P

44PHH really just means 44mm twin choke side draft. There at least two completely different carbs that carry that designation. The Solex's I have seen had no parts interchangeability with the Mikuni'

Mikuni were/are license-made Solex carbs. There were 2 different types of Solex side draft carbs in Europe. Italian and German. The German type is the one with most similar details to Mikuni/Solex bu
