I can't speak for all TR4's, but the front rotors on the TR6 start at .510 thickness. 10 mm is a little under .250 inches - those rotors are pretty thin. I want to point out that replacement rotors

Just thought I would point out that 10 mm is actually .3937 inches; 25.4 mm in 1 inch, 10 / 25.4 = .3937. Not to be nitpicky at all. And I wholeheartedly agree -- don't be cheap on your brakes. Dan

You are of course correct Andy. 10 mm is about .418 inches, not .250. My mistake. I just measured an old rotor that I thought was that thin (.250), and it was in fact .430 (more or less). Thin enough

Hi List, Am having trouble finding minimum wear specs for TR4 brakes .. I did find front rotors minimum thickness supposed to be 11.18mm in Factory manualunfortunately mine barely measure 10mm thick

Carl & list. Before I restored my 66 TR4A had a brake vibration. I assumed it was the front rotors. When I arrived at brake restoration, I took the rotors up the local machine shop for resurfacing. T
