First thanks for all the responses to my post earlier this week (Makin' Trouble!). The problem: my car (67 sprite "Stinky") has no seat belts. I notice two eye bolts (bolt with round hole at the end)

Yes, and no. Cars back then were required to come with the mounting points, but not the belts. My 67 came with lap belts, but that may be dealer installed anyway. I have used two different setups. Fi

I don't know if seatbelts were original on your car or not, but a mechanic and used parts provider I know doesn't like selling used seatbelts because of the potential failures. He says the seatbelts

That sounds like the normal mounting arrangement. Mine aren't eye-bolts though, but they probably aren't original either. If you replace the bolts make sure you don't use cheap hardware, use grade 5

Like the other folks do not know if your car came with seat belts. Here may be an option depending on your preference. On our 1960 I drilled holes in the floor pan directly behind and on either side
