- First thanks for all the responses to my post earlier this week (Makin' Trouble!). The problem: my car (67 sprite "Stinky") has no seat belts. I notice two eye bolts (bolt with round hole at the end)

- Yes, and no. Cars back then were required to come with the mounting points, but not the belts. My 67 came with lap belts, but that may be dealer installed anyway. I have used two different setups. Fi

- I don't know if seatbelts were original on your car or not, but a mechanic and used parts provider I know doesn't like selling used seatbelts because of the potential failures. He says the seatbelts

- That sounds like the normal mounting arrangement. Mine aren't eye-bolts though, but they probably aren't original either. If you replace the bolts make sure you don't use cheap hardware, use grade 5

- Like the other folks do not know if your car came with seat belts. Here may be an option depending on your preference. On our 1960 I drilled holes in the floor pan directly behind and on either side

- Justin 67 seat belts were dealer options. They had clips for a quick fit to the eye bolts in the tunnel and inner sill. (lap belts only) Side impact air bags, dual front air bags, crumple zones, coll
