- All right all you automotive gurus, I have an electrical question for you. My 75 CJ5 won't start. Symptom: power at the coil positive terminal, no spark from the coil. Replaced the coil, no change. B

- Couldn't you check a coil by: connecting low v sides to + and - of battery, connect high side with sparkplug wire to a sparkplug also grounded to the - battery, and quickly disconnecting one of the w

- With key on.... manually (with your fingers) open and close the points. If you can hear or see a spark at the points, suspect the coil. if you can't the condenser is suspect or the points are grounde
