- First time caller, long time listener... Can anyone tell me if the TR6 was ever sold (from the dealer) without the soft top and only the hard top? I ask this question because I race my car under SCCA

- Wow. That was odd. About 5 minutes before your message came in I was thinking of that weekend you attended the Utah Region Pro Solo and the work we did on the car in the sweltering heat in the dead o

- Years ago I ran several tr6s in DSP in pro solo, divisional and regionals. I was told by a safety inspector to remove the bow because it could be dangerous in case the car rolled over. I never ran o

- According to my Original TR4/4A/5/6 book by Bill Piggot, the TR6 could be gotten with the hardtop only. It states there were kits available to convert it to a soft-top. It also says the hardtop model

- Thanks Charly, I'd like to see that book you mentioned. Or at least the pages pertaining to the hardtop. The UK cars, from what I can tell, were built on the same line as the US spec cars. I can upda
