Tell me more! I didn't know that I had a vented cap until just recently when I cleared some lint out of the holes. The car leaks much better now. I was thinking that the PCV was the culprit, but the

If your car has a PCV, having a vented cap indeed does make no sense. The carb would just suck air through the vent cap, through the engine, and into the cylinders. Can't make that nice oil-holding v
