Just a couple of thoughts here. Not being a TR6 expert, isn't the wheel aluminum? Whether it is or not may have something to do with the non-adherence of your primer. Echoing Randall Young's suggesti
Actually, it's my mistake. I meant to say Acryli-Clean not Acryli-Clear. There is a similar product sold by NAPA under the trade name "FIN-L-WASH" 6387. But it is sold only in gallons and is about 25
the A late repy I know...just got home , but isn't a rougher surface needed for adhesion of the primer? I'd sand with 240 grit or so to give the primer something to hang onto. 800 grit must have made
