Question 1: Should I take my radiator in while it's out of the car to get flushed/cleaned up, not knowing anything about it or its history, or is it safe to assume it's ok? (Just checking!) Question

A mechanical engineer friend who is a car nut and owns many vehicles, including an XKE and a Arnolt Bristol (!) says pusher fans (i.e. in front of the radiator) are the only way to go. Fans that pull

Answer 1. Yes go ahead and have it flushed and tested. It does not cost much to have done, and is well worth it. Answer 2. Behind the radiator is the best spot if you can fit it. That way it does not

You may or may not have room in between the waterpump pulley and the electric fan. I didn't think there was room. I put mine in front of the rad for that reason alone. It does block the airflow so t
