While I haven't done this on the Spits yet, most rear brakes have you the adjuster so that it is just clear of the drums and is free turning. Then reassemble it all, roll the car backwards at a low s

I assume we are talking about Spitfire rear brakes. If so, there are no automatic adjustors fitted to any models that I am aware of! I know Someone will correct me if I am wrong! Joe
