Fender mirrors maybe? Advantages: a smaller blind spot, and they look cool . Disasvatages: a real pain to adjust if you're alone. Greg P.S. somewhere deep down inside of me there is this asssociation

As a past member of the U. S. Navy, and having been to Japan, I can agree with Ulix that they require outside fender mirrors..or did so until recently... as far as mounting an exterior mirror on an L
