I don't know if you are repainting wire wheels or steel disc wheels, but I've tried the silver wire wheel paint from Moss (probably just re-labeled Krylon, and similar to other "argent silver" offeri

I agree completely. According to Piggott, painted wires were available in either "silver" or "aluminium." The dark-colored wheels to which you refer look like aircraft aluminum in color, which to my

Did you use a clear-coat on top of the silver? I find this gives a warmer more medium grey tone... but perhaps still not as dark as you like. BTW -- isn't "Argent Silver" just a bit redundant? Geo H
