I had the same deal on my car and was able to get must of the play out by replacing the silentbloc bushings on the tie rod and finding a tighter idler arm. That alone removed the majority of the play

Once again I dip my ladle into the well of Triumph knowledge as I attempt to tighten up the steering on my 61 TR3A. Revington offers an improved steering box top plate that "incorporates a spring-loa

Bob, my advice is to run, not walk, to the nearest exit. Haven't tried it myself, but IMO it's a non-solution to a non-problem. With a properly setup box, there is only play when the steering is off

Anyone know if the 2' long tube that fits into the steering box (split shaft) is supposed to be readily removable from the box itself? I have two steering boxes and the tube on one will not come out

Well boys and girls, I've spent a week fretting over how I was going to get my steering linkage apart. Bought a pittman arm puller yesterday...way too big and inappropriate for the job, but what do I

Thanks to all of you who have offered suggestions on how to work on tie rod ends and silentblocs. As it is turning out, it's really rather easy. Parts came apart with a pickle fork; new bushes in, co
