Hi Listers, Is the plate on the front of the TR(4) engine supposed to be dead flat? Mine has one leg (driver side) that slightly bent backwards - say 1/4" at the most. It looks like a bear to bend so

It is flat, and is actually a fairly mild steel that can be brought back flat (or nearly so) with a hammer and a 2 x 4 on a flat surface, finishing with some delicacy against a flat surface with a fa
