Since the latest in carbon bushings are as good as modern asian rubber, I would either look for old stock carbon (mine are NOT for sale ;) I also just recently put a roller bearing in my wife's Sprit

FWIW the 1500 uses a roller type bearing. I have put 1000's of miles on them and never had a problem. The only reason it ever got replaced was the clutch was getting changed, so what the hell, might

The last clutch job I did I considered a roller bearing unit .When I looked into it , I believe Mini Mania had a drop -in bearing to directly replace the carbon one in my Bugeye. As I was in a hurry,
