- I have used both the 185/15 Avon turbosteel and the 180/15 XAS on my car. It4s like comparing the stoneage with the spaceage. The turbosteels are very hard and not very round giving poor grip, unsaf

- Thanks for the feedback! The question of whether a tire is "hard or soft" is an interesting one, and I assume refers to the ride quality and not the rubber quality of the tread. But please correct m

- Hi Andrew, Factory tire compounds vary considerably in the beginning, & also harden a lot with age. The harder the tread the less traction. When tires are made, the vulcanizing process cures, hardens
