I agree with Barry. If the bearing shells are installed right you CAN'T tighten up the crank journals in any way that will put drag on of stop the smooth movement of the crank. Same goes for the rod

I agree with the others that you have a fit problem not a troque requirement issue, but I wanted to mention that you should not use a troque wrench at its highest value or lowest for that matter. All
