I read on a listers TR-6 web site that the GMB U-joints P/N 220-1100 are a tad long making the retainer cir-clips difficult to insert. Does anyone else have first hand experience with the GMB joints

I've had problems with several u-joint manufacturers. It seems that some of the off-shore manufacturers aren't machining the ends of the u-joints and are a smosch bit longer. The only way I could get

I use the spicer joints on the outer axle joint. You replace the fiting with a plug and it works fine. After a year of beating them with a Ford V8 in my TR 6 they are still in like new condition. The

The only u-joint that I have found to always fit properly is the UK manufactured Hardy Spicer brand in the green box. HS195 has the grease fitting in the cross-section and the HS161 has no fitting at
