The mesh based screen should be fine, I see that on a lot of the modern roadsters so I assume it is effective and it looks good. I bet the collapsible part means that the screen will fold down or at

I do like the double hoop design. It seems to be popular in the Audi independent hoop style and I think the BMW's have a sort of linked hoop more like a stretched M with a mesh screen between the two
