You probably don't have the 6 blade Nock fan. This fan moves as much air at idle as the old 4 blade fan moves at ~3,000 rpm... it move a great deal of air at all speeds. Regards, Alan

Thanks for your comments. I should take a picture of it, and forward it to you to take a look at and compare. Perhaps the fan is doing it's job, but age or build up in cooling system is the culprit.

Try drving a BJ8 in tropical Hong Kong. a 160 will keep the car running at 180 to 190, even at night! If you are in a very hot, humid place 160 is the only way to go. Anywhere else I'd go with a 180,
