any advice on what to set the front end up at... I am taking it in the morning to have the tires balanced and the front end aliened... the caster is preset at about 8 degrees and the question I have

I'll be the first to admit that I have zero experience on salt, but zero camber and zero toe with positive caster will be easiest on tires while keeping the car straight and causing the least rollin

If you have stock components in your front end, you need to add 1/8 " toe-in as the tires will toe-out at speed. If you have poly bushings everywhere and heim rod ends in your tie rods, you can get
