I'd suspect either an air leak or that the screen on the tank fuel pickup is clogged. FWIW I removed the screen (it really serves as a filter which is not visible or easily serviced) and installed an

You can blow though the fuel line from the carbs back to clean obstructions. If you can blow from pump back that is also good. Clean filters at bowls, etc. Try that first. Rick San Diego
