- I just repacked the heater control valve on my TR3A, which, I assume, is similar to the Spit's. There is a packing nut on the valve stem. If you remove this nut, you can then remove the old packing a

- Contrary to Michael Marr's posting (no offense, Mike), the Spitfire/GT6 heater valve is not serviceable. It's different from that of a TR3, and the only way to repair it is to ... purchase it. Yeah -
