Are your carbs properly vented? I had similar trouble while I was figuring out what went where. Also...are your carbs isolated from the manifold by the thick gasket/spacers? Mike Perry 72 spit w. hs4

Two thoughts occur about this - tuning or fuel starvation. If you've tuned it using a Color Tune then tuning should be OK - I've never actually used one of these, so I don't know how good they are.
