I'm embarassed to ask this, but where does the oil pressure guage hook up? during the rebuild the machine shop dutifully filled, sealed or screwed bolts into all the open holes on my motor to keep it

You certainly don't want to ignore this if it keeps getting worse as it *could* warning sign. However, given the age of the engine and the high temperature it may not be that big a problem. A-series
