- Robert, Marine supply stores sell a grease gun for outboards that takes a tube of oil screwed to it that I have been using to put oil in my steering rack. I can dig up the part numbers if you cannot

- Just get your neighbors old grease gun (he never uses it anyway) and put a bolt and some fender washers in the bottom in place of the sprinloaded pullhandle assembly. Fill it with your favorite 140wt

- Thanks. It could be handy. I would have to travel out of the city to get to marine shops. A local one that I found had a screw in attachment with the wrong threading to get a proper attachment onto.

- Thank you Peter S. I finally made it out to the Mecury dealer and found the front rack gun. It works beautifully. I managed to drip one drop of oil. And the difference that it makes to the steering!
