- Scott, my 76 has the 1000 speedo and it is original. I also have OD (factory). My diff is CD 87870 and I believe that to be a 3.70. On a TR6 the J-type OD makes no difference (as far as the speedo)

- I can also verify that the later TR-6's did come with 1000 rev. per mile speedo's. I have a late '76 parts car and the dash assembly from CF36982 (March 1975) and both have the 1000/mi. calibration.
