The one I got from TRF worked just great in spite of the "rebuilt" tag on the starter motor. It's supposed to be a "pre-engaged" design, meaning the gears should mesh before the starter begins to tu

Fred, My experience has been all good. The only problem I had was a fused starter solenoid within a few months of installing the starter. After that, I re-wired it (per Randall's suggestion) to use
