A likely cause is that the battery was run down by your first drive, so check it and if it's low you probably have an alternator/charging system problem. One other possibility: I had an old, beat up

~edited~ tried to start Tom, If your soleniod, located on the shelf on the right hand side of the firewall, was clicking, then we can rule out the ign. switch or wiring being at fault. New batteries

are you shure the solenoid is on the "shelf"? IMHO, only TR2 >> TR250, NOT TR5 &TR6 , have it there! But nevertheless, the advices seem OK for me. :) Clicking of the solenoid, means no voltage at the
