I have installed a Smiths voltmeter in my Spitfire. However, it reads about 2 volts lower thatn it should ( as verified by a VOM). Is there anyway of adjusting it? Thanks, Roger Elliott 1980 Spitfire

I have never looked inside one, but there is probably a resistor inside that the sensitivity. If it is adjustable, you are set. Otherwise, you could possibly replace it with a different value. On the
