Mitch---I know it's confusing to follow this exhaust path. Picture two
"y's" connected together at the RH axle, the bottom or last one being
upside down. The top Y connects to the original two exhaust pipes. The
bottom Y now splits. One leg ells into the muffler, and ells out into
its single chromed tip. The other leg of the Y goes into the other
chromed tip. The removable baffle is in this leg. This leg can be run
'straight thru' when no baffle is in place, or it can be restricted to
force all exhaust thru the muffler side.

The muffler is a one in, one out style. It runs sideways, parallel with
the bumper, as the original TR6 does. Since these mufflers are so short,
yet effective, one could turn a pair of them to run parallel with the
body, using shorter (or no) tips. Some redesign of the LH exhaust system
from the mid-point back would be required. As our original style, two
in, two out mufflers start to phase out, this will become a possible
option.
