Hi,

Just for clarification  - the proper drain plug for your diff should be a
1/8" NPT (not a machine thread). If you go with a regular machine thread
(1/4-28, for example), you would need to add some sort of sealing washer
to get a good seal. The 1/8" npt hole is considerably larger than 1/8", of
course.

Bottom line - _anything_ is better than not draining/replenishing the
fluid in your TR6 diff!
