I notice that it is impossible not to get the fold on the small side
windows, when folding the sides in. I had always been taught on MG's to
fold at the area between the backlight and the side window, but this is
impossible the way my top is installed.
My question - is my top install incorrectly or do all TR6 tops fold across
the side window.

I've always unzipped as suggested in my owner's manual but yesterday I
tried not unzipping the window. Even with the roll bar (narrower
version) and speakers mounted on the shelf, the top folded nicely with
the window zipped. I was surprised to find that it folds better zipped
than it does unzipped. As suggested, a piece of flanel or soft cotton to
protect the windows would make it even better.
