Alan,

If it weighs less than 27 pounds then it has been lightened.

Subject: Stage 2 rebuild and flywheel lightning

When I purchased my 72 TR6, the owner said that the car had a
stage 2 rebuild. I have a racing cam, ported intakes, header, etc.
In a copy of Kastner competition manual that came with the car, the
section on lightning the flywheel was circled.

My question. How can I find out if the flywheel was actually
lightened. The transmission is currently out of the car but I know
that the side of the flywheel to be ground is the engine side.
