when i lifted my body off the chassis with a come-along, i used 2 nylon
tow-ropes. 1 wrapped under the rear wheel wells and the other was
jerry-rigged
around the front firewall and wings. probably wasn't the best setup but i
lifted
the body 1 notch at a time and watched closely for problems.
also, very important to either leave your doors on for rigidity or use
some
other bracing across the door opening, otherwise the tub will collapse on
itself. any questions. if you need further help or have other questions on
this,
email me back. i may be able to find pix to send you.
1 other thing....not sure how you're going to handle the body once it's
off but
i built a rolling dolly that fit over the rolling chassis but held the body
on top.
just used 2x4's and 2x6's and some wheels and other bracing. allowed me to
use only 1 garage space for both the removed body and chassis.
    good luck..
