It has been a few months since I have made one of these plugs, but if I
remember correctly it is a 3/4-16. It is not a pipe thread!!!
I gave mine to Al Salvatore just prior to the TRF summer party. He had
an ugly, cut-off, bolt that will most likely be all that you will find.
I make mine out of 7/8" hex Brass stock, and include a bronze washer.
Cost $8.00.

Subject: Looking for EGR Valve pipe thread size
I have a 76 TR6 that I am removing the EGR valve and some other parts.
Does
anyone know the size of the pipe thread that screws into the head? I
thought it was 1/2 threaded black pipe but it is not. I need to find
the
size (specs) so I can plug the hole up.
