Hello List,
Does anyone feel competent to rate/compare the seat re-upholstery kits
that
the big three sell? Any other source recommendations? My Dad wants to redo
his 1975 seats this winter. He wants to maintain the original black vinyl.
What else is needed besides the foam kit, the re-upholstery kit and the seat
diaphragms? TRF has some strap kits too. Are they usually necessary?
I have read several online articles and printed them out for him to
read as
well. It doesn't seem very easy. I have never redone seats; I have only
installed new diaphragms (and I found that to be incredibly difficult).
Since I'm not in the USA to help him can any of you recommend a place that
can do the work for him in the event that he feels that he can not do the
job himself?
