John---The pedal arm has an elongated hole from years of service. It's
best to keep the original clevis pin size (5/16") to match the MC
pushrod connection. I drilled out the pedal arm to 7/16" and put in a
sleeve with the 5/16 ID. Got a couple of spare (bronze) sleeves put away
for my old age, while I was at it.

You'll want to remove the pedal box for this job. Not difficult, and you
can check the bushings on the pedal box cross shaft while it's out.
Parts available from TRF and others.

When this area is free of slop, your clutch should disengage when the
pedal is about one inch from the floor.

Dick
