I admit I'm new at this stuff, never having put my TR250 engine and
tranny in, but the body shop owner, Roger, and I took it out easily as a
single unit. The car was on 4 jack stands, I ran the hoist, and Roger
was underneath muscling the tail of the transmission.

Came out very easily. Is there some reason it won't go back in just as
easily? Seems if we had one of those tilting things on the hoist it
would have been even easier than easy.

Based on my admittedly limited experience, I can't imagine putting it in
as two pieces. Am I missing something?
