Hi Jim,

According to the Moss (USA) catalog, the J-types used in TR6s are:
- 25/115838 from CF1 to CF35000
- 25/115876 from CF35001 on

J-types have a number with the pattern "25/xxxxx yyyyyy" (mine is 25/115876
002757 for example). The 25 represents the % reduction in engine rpm at a
given speed when the O/D is engaged. The 002757 is a sequential serial
number for the unit. The middle set of numbers represents the specific
flavor of J-type it is -- other cars than TR6s used J-type O/Ds, so a few
flavors do exist.
