Thanks to everyone that replied.  I picked up some better quality -- cleaner
looking threads, nicer finish -- Grade 5 bolts today from Fastenal (the
other ones must have come from Taiwan or something).

I've always followed the creed that one should use Grade 5 everywhere but
where it is otherwise specified, so thanks for everyone that confirmed that
to me!
