The simple solution that I did was to buy the twin-snout air cleaner housing
from an early ('69 - '70) TR6 and run 2 paper hoses (the ones that are sold for
carb preheat) to the rad shroud just above and to the left of the carbon
canister. I bought a couple of aluminum duct flanges from
http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/ductflanges.php and rivited them
to the shroud where I slipped the hoses on. Seems to work great with the stock
carb setup.
