The below message may be an alternative to what I was referring to in my 
previous message.   I now recall the parts supplier was McMaster Carr but the 
collar and bearing I got was all in one piece.  My description of this device 
as an accellerator shaft bushing was incorrect as I knew but failed to engage 
my brain before dashing off the message.  According to one of my parts books it 
is correctly identified as the "pedal Shaft bushing".  Dale indicated he 
couldn't post the below message to the list so I am forwarding it for your 
information.

A while back Nelson from the Buckeye Triumph Club researched this same
thing. He came up with this.

Bearing #  6338K461   $ 0.54 approximate
Collar #     6435K13     $ 1.52 approximate           package #  1C-037    

Need two of each. One of the bearings needs to be drill out a bit to
get over the knull part of the shaft.
 
Our club bought enough for twelve cars reducing the cost.
